Camaya Coast Day Tour Review

A Perfect Day Getaway from Manila – Camaya Coast Day Tour Review

If you're looking for a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Manila without the stress of a long drive, the Camaya Coast Day Tour is hands down one of the best and most convenient options out there!

We parked our car right at the CCP Terminal in Manila—super convenient and hassle-free. From there, we hopped on a ferry bound for Camaya. The 2-hour ferry ride was smooth and comfortable. The boat had wide legroom, clean restrooms, and a small snack shop selling sandwiches, pastries, chips, and drinks. The crew and staff were very friendly, making the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Upon arriving at Camaya Coast, we were welcomed by a sprawling beach resort with e-mini-buses and a charming train-style ride to bring guests around. Golf carts were also available for rent, although they were fully booked during our visit. Thankfully, the other transport options made it easy to get around.

We loved spending time at the infinity pool, which had free access—perfect for a refreshing swim with a view. The kids had an absolute blast at Aqua Fun, the inflatable floating water park (entrance fee: ₱299 per person), which added an extra splash of excitement to the day. While the beach water wasn’t very clear, it felt safe enough for swimming, and you can rent kayaks and jet skis if you’re up for more adventure.

When it came to food, Camaya didn’t disappoint. We had lunch at the BBQ Grill, a casual turo-turo-style spot where we ordered sweet chili garlic prawns, BBQ liempo, sinigang na salmon, adobong pusit, and grilled tuna belly—all delicious and satisfying. We paired it with fresh buko, while the kids enjoyed melon melba and watermelon shakes from Big Chill. The food pavilion had both airconditioned and open-air seating, and you could conveniently cross-order from other restaurants within the area.

Later in the day, we grabbed merienda at Max’s (chicken & halo-halo) and an XL New York’s Finest pizza from Yellow Cab—which the kids devoured. In the afternoon, the beachside area came alive with live band performances, a "Bring Me" game, and a lively crowd enjoying the good vibes.

We also explored the hotel near Aqua Fun, located at the top of a hill. A regular room costs around ₱10,500 per night, and right inside the building is a cozy Figaro Café, where we relaxed over coffee, dark chocolate cake, and a gooey 5-cheese pizza. We learned that Figaro operates 24 hours for hotel guests, which is a great perk for those staying overnight.

Before heading back, we freshened up using the shower and locker facilities (available for rent). The return ferry departed exactly on time, and by 9 PM, we were already back at Manila CCP—no traffic, no hassle.

Overall, this Camaya Coast Day Tour was a fantastic escape—smooth logistics, good food, great fun, and stunning views. It’s the perfect way to unwind, recharge, and bond with family or friends, all within a single day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient beach getaway without the long hours of driving!
